I booked online through the official site, and paid, I thought (since I put in all my payment info in and clicked book ect). But at arrival I was told to pay again, which confused me and made me scared. Then the receptionist-man got angry at me, and couldn't explain. Maybe because we were communication in English aswell. Luckily another receptionist, a woman, stepped in. However I'm still confused and unsure about that check-in-payment process.. The rooms were cleaned daily. I think that is nice, but I also thought it was a bit annoying since I wanted privacy and peace. They could only speak French. Also at two times I went back to my room and found the door open, none inside, then the cleaning-ladies came back. Someone could have stolen my stuff :/ Also I found a living cockroach in the bathroom -but I think it has more to do with the age and condition of the building, than the work of the staff. I came to like the receptionists. I didn't catch her name, but the female receptionist with half-long hair and brown eyes, was very helpful, showing me the breakfast and getting me a taxi. After the check-in, all contact with the staff was pleasant. Overall I think it was as I expected for the price, since I know Paris is expensive. The road is very noisy, my showerhead was broken, it smelled a bit like old celler/sewer in the bathroom, and I didn't like the cockroach. However I liked the room nonetheless because of the clean and warm-decor, the comfort, the help from the receptionists and because it was close to shops, transport and stuff. So thank you.

Hôtel géographiquement bien situé. Manque de lumière dans les couloirs. Personnel courtois et sympa. Wifi qui ne fonctionne pas à l'étage Manque de prise électrique dans la chambre

Chambre un peu "vieillotte" mais fonctionnelle et personnel accueillant ; bon rapport qualité/prix.
